Whether you are an experienced student with a deep interest in learning more about the body, or a yoga teacher, massage therapist, physical therapist or personal trainer with a desire to learn more ways to help your clients, friends and family to feel healthy and happy, this training is for you!  This 5-day (30-hour) intensive training will profoundly deepen your knowledge as you fall in love with the beauty and grace of the human body and learn how easily we can heal from injuries and misalignments through the practice of Anusara Yoga.   Sarah will weave anatomy, therapy, asana and philosophy into a rich tapestry, empowering students with a deep, inner knowing of how to help themselves and others find freedom from pain and suffering in the body.  She will address a variety of musculo-skeletal injuries and misalignments related to the lower back, hips, shoulders, neck, knees, elbows, ankles, feet, and wrists.  There is no better way to fully understand the biomechanical elegance of John Friend’ s Universal Principles of Alignment™ than with hands-on experience in the classroom.   Learn how to give a huge variety of very refined/skillful/therapeutic hands-on adjustments to yourself and others to help guide the body towards an optimal place of health and healing.  Our daily sessions will include asana practice, anatomy and therapy instruction, and partner/group activities... with some evenings reserved to work with volunteers from the community with actual injuries.

Prerequisites:
*at least 30hrs of Anusara Yoga experience with inspired or certified teachers
*a basic understanding of the Universal Principles of Alignment™ of Anusara Yoga
