Anusara Yoga Immersions I, II & III with Certified Anusara Yoga® Teacher Sarah Starnes will begin in November 2010! :) Are you looking to venture deeper into the amazing practice of Anusara Yoga? Do you have interest in learning more about asana, yogic philosophy, pranayama, meditation, and so much more? Are you truly dedicated to your yoga practice and/or are you looking for inspiration to become so? If so, this program is for you. :)

Immersions I, II & III: The Anusara Yoga Immersion program is a 100 hour training designed for the enthusiastic student who wishes to delve into the practice of Anusara Yoga and learn more in-depth information about the full spectrum of life-changing possibilities that Anusara Yoga has to offer.  It is also the first step towards Anusara Yoga certification.  In this comprehensive training, students will study every aspect of Anusara Yoga in detail. This includes all asanas from the Level 1 and 2 syllabi, yoga philosophy, all components of the biomechanics and the opportunity to be with great, like-minded company.  Once you have successfully finished all three parts of the 100 hour Immersion, you will receive a signed certificate of completion.

Prerequisites:
* At least 2 years of hatha yoga (physical practice)
* Completion of online application (see link below)
* 30 hours of Anusara Yoga practice: Includes yoga classes, workshops and retreats with a Certified or Inspired Anusara Yoga Teacher.

You can attend certain parts of this training instead of the entire program if you wish***

***Completion of the previous Level Immersions and Teacher Trainings required (with any Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher) to enroll in successive levels.  Immersions I, II, & III must be completed before attending Teacher Trainings I, II & III***

If you have little or no experience in Anusara yoga, please take at least 30hrs of classes or workshops with Sarah or other Anusara teachers before the start date of the training.

Sarah Starnes will be teaching most of the contact hours during the course of the training, with a couple of opportunities for the students to learn from well qualified, guest teachers offering Yogic Philosophy and Ayurveda studies.

Each Immersion is a 5-day, 34 contact hour session (Wednesday evening through Sunday)
Immersions I, II & III = a total of 102 contact hours of training

Times for each 5-Day Module:
Wed. 5pm-9pm
Thurs. 10am-3:30pm
Fri. 11am-8:30pm
Sat. 12:30pm-7:30pm
Sun. 9am-5pm

Students must attend 100 contact hours in all three Immersions to receive a certificate of completion.  A review date will be scheduled following each session for students who have to miss class... at no additional cost!  Review classes will most likely be held in Palatine, IL.  Review dates will be held on a Saturday or a Sunday.

Please purchase all required books before the start date of class, but you don't need to bring all of your books to the first day of the immersion, just your Anusara Teacher Training Manual.  You will be instructed when you will need to bring certain books during your Immersion.
